How It All Began

Founder
Tatsuyoshi Omura
Since my daughter was born, I’ve started thinking more about what we eat and how we live.
I learned that rice bran, a healthy staple in Japan, is often thrown out or used as feed in this country.
At Kubota Rice Industry (HAWAII), fresh Japanese rice is milled every day on the island. That process creates beautiful rice bran, but most of it never reaches our tables.
I felt that was too good to waste. So I blended the local love for granola with the power of rice bran.
With aloha in every batch, I made something I’m proud to share with my family and community.
